Airline Industry Information - American Airlines and Alaska Airlines offer interline electronic ticketing

American Airlines has formed an interline electronic ticketing agreement with Alaska Airlines.

Under the agreement, which is effective immediately, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines will offer reciprocal interline electronic ticketing. This will allow customers whose itinerary includes travel on both carriers to use a single electronic ticket.

Passengers with e-tickets can also rebook between American Airlines and Alaska Airlines without having to obtain a paper ticket first.
